Directions to Cumberland County Special Civil Part Courthouse
From the Philadelphia Area:
Cross the Walt Whitman Bridge and pick up Rt. 42 going south. Follow 42 to the beginning of Rt. 55 and take 55 southbound. Follow 55 to exit 29, County Rt. 552. Follow 552 west bound to County Rt. 553 (Woodruff Road). Take a left onto Rt. 553 and follow this to the first traffic light, NJ Rt. 49. At the light turn right onto NJ Rt. 49 heading west and follow this into the City of Bridgeton, the County Seat. Stay on Rt. 49 to the intersection of Rt. 49, (Broad Street), and Fayette Street. County Courthouse is on the left hand side of the street.
From North Jersey and New York City:
Take the NJ turnpike southbound to Exit 7. Follow signs to Rt. 206/ I-295. At the first traffic light turn right. Turn right again following signs for I-295. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left onto I-295 south. Follow signs to Rt. 42/ Atlantic City. Merge left onto Rt. 42 and follow to Rt. 55. Follow Rt. 55 south to exit 29, County Rt. 552. Follow 552 west bound to County Rt. 553 (Woodruff Road). Take a left onto Rt. 553 and follow this to the first traffic light, NJ Rt. 49. At the light turn right onto NJ Rt. 49 heading west and follow this into the City of Bridgeton, the County Seat. Stay on Rt. 49 to the intersection of Rt. 49, (Broad Street), and Fayette Street. County Courthouse is on the left hand side of the street.
From Delaware and Maryland:
Cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge and pick-up NJ State Highway 49. Follow Rt. 49 into Bridgeton the County Seat. Pass the Cumberland County Courthouse on the right hand side and turn right at the corner of Rt. 49 and Fayette Street. The County Courthouse is on the left.
From Atlantic City and points East:
Follow 322 West out of the city and pick up NJ Rt. 40 at the Hamilton Mall going west. Just west of Mays Landing make a left at the traffic signal that directs you toward Millville, this will be County Rt. 552. Pass through the town of Milmay and approximately 6 miles further up the road 552 turns to the right becoming Sherman Avenue. Follow 552 west bound to County Rt. 553 (Woodruff Road). Take a left onto Rt. 553 and follow this to the first traffic light, NJ Rt. 49. At the light turn right onto NJ Rt. 49 heading west and follow this into the City of Bridgeton, the County Seat. Stay on Rt. 49 to the intersection of Rt. 49, (Broad Street), and Fayette Street. County Courthouse is on the left hand side of the street.
